It is with mixed emotions that I write this message to you all. After 4 years of serving the Bristol Federated Church as your Family Life Coordinator, I have decided to take on more time in the schools teaching and working with students. My last day serving you all will be August 31. While I know I am making the best choice for myself and my family, this decision was not made lightly and does not come easily. I have shed many tears since making this announcement to our Leadership Team on Monday. I care deeply for the people of this church. I will always cherish the impromptu visits and countless conversations that have been had in my office. Thank you for humoring me when I suggested we haul in oodles of pine greens and make advent wreaths during our church service. Thank you for allowing me to bring glitter into the sanctuary so we could all decorate Christmas ornaments. Thank you for helping to fill and hide hundreds of Easter Eggs. Thank you for putting up with my crazy suggestion that we intentionally make a mess in our league room and sanctuary in hopes that if we called something Messy Church we might be able to share God’s word with more people and families. Thank you for the love, for the laughs, for the tears, for the time together. My family and I are appreciative of the opportunity this church gave me to serve all of you. God knew I needed this job before I was even aware that I needed it. I will be forever grateful for these last four years. With much love, appreciation, and adoration for each of you,
