Last Sunday we celebrated the rebirth of the Christ Light in the Resurrection! It was a joyous celebration of the truth that “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it!’
This Monday we will all see an example of this truth from the solar system when the moon will travel directly between us and the sun in a total eclipse, at which time it will become dark as night. But that darkness will not last. In just a few minutes, the light will return.
Let this be a reminder that no matter how dark our lives might seem, the light of Christ is always there whether we perceive it or not. Christ always shines through.
